The Isles at Old Tampa Bay
Elegant Coastal Living
The Isles at Old Tampa Bay is a unique, planned seaside community that will provide residents with an environment to celebrate life in a whole new way. Located in prestigious South Tampa, The Isles will offer all of the old world charm the area is known for, while also delivering an unparalleled array of amenities.
One of the last remaining waterfront locations of its scale in Tampa Bay, The Isles will feature up to 550 residences, including 67 waterfront estate lots and 189 boat slips across 162 acres.
This signature living destination will enhance and promote a lifestyle with increased walkability, outdoor recreation, and environmental awareness to the South Tampa Community. Whether the preference is taking in a dramatic sunset, a quiet waterside walk or sharing an evening with friends at one of the nearby sophisticated restaurants, the Isles brings a depth and breadth of settings for every taste.
As part of our commitment to keep the community informed about the development progress at The Isles at Old Tampa Bay, we will provide real-time updates with information about site activity as well as permit status in this section of our website.
- On May 23, 2022, the final phase of improvements to Westshore Boulevard will begin. Work will include milling and paving of Westshore and installation of the sidewalks, bus stop lane, and traffic signal. Intermittent lane closures may be required.
- On May 23, 2022, we will also start surveying, mobilizing equipment, and stockpiling materials in anticipation of beginning our approved on-site construction activities including site clearing within the wetland mitigation areas.
- During the week of April 25th, we started the spring pruning of the mangroves surrounding the lagoon. This will take approximately two (2) to three (3) weeks.
- To date, we have retained and relocated 152 trees onsite and relocated over 700 palm trees to offsite nurseries in accordance with our City-approved plans. This exceeds the 50% City of Tampa tree retention requirement. The palm trees will be returned and replanted as each pad on the property is developed.
Construction began in 2021. The first phase of development included clearing the site and off-site improvements to Westshore Boulevard. Sales of the bay front residential lots will begin in mid-2022. Construction of the lots is expected to commence in 2022, with a projected delivery of finished lots in early 2024. Additional phases of development are anticipated to begin over the next several years.
